The mRFPmagenta reporter (BBa_K5257000) is regulated by a NOT logic gate at the transcriptional level controlled by TetR (tetO operator) and at the post-translational level by the TEV protease that exposes a degradation tag.

The regulation of this reporter is crucial to build biosensors that make use of NOT logic gates in their processing module.
